This year I am going to replace the motor, replace the seals in the trans, convert to front disc brakes w/2 pot resivour, re-wire the entire car. Lofty goals I know, but I am thinking I might "hide" some of the bodywork flaws with the stripes. That way I can live with them for a year, and I can get some more feedback on the paint. I love the stripes, but I have a bad feeling that I might get tired of ooking at them after a couple of years. Besides it should only take me a couple of hours, maybe a short weekend to layout the stripes, and do a rattlecan makeover, trust me when I say the small avatar pic makes the paint look much better than it really is. Keep the opinions coming, so far it looks to be like 50/50, and as always thanks for all the help.

If you're gonna use a rattle can, does it really matter?

Lose the stripes - they ****. Keep the skirts (you can take them off for the other look anytime......)

in my opinion id leave the skirts man, they make that car!

 

i like the skirts with the visor, and scallops , but the door scallop would look better going the other way to flow better , or no door scallop at all.
