VIDEO --- MERC TRUCK gets new PORTER MUFFLERS

I dropped the Merc Truck off at the Austin Speed Shop the other day...
one of the things I had them do was order and install some new Porter Mufflers for me. It came back sounding like an entirely different truck. I think it sounds great; but I'm a bit biased...

So I made a quick video so you can each judge for yourself.

When you rev it, it sounds like a jungle wild cat ready to attack, I think it sounds cool.

Sounds good. How do I get my car loud? I have a cherry bomb on it, but the only thing loud about it is the exhaust leak. Is that hindering it? Single exhaust hurting it?

sounds good. i got a pair of porters on my caddy, they're pretty awesome, definately a unique sound. nice and mellow at idle, but when you get on it, its kinda wild

 

I've been really happy with Porters. They are well built and have a great sound. Nothing else like them!!

Hey Thanks everyone... for all the compliments on the truck. I always felt the sound the Merc Truck had was raw and dirty... much more noisy; but I had gotten so used to it. Now, the sound really brings it all home for me.

I have had them on for a few weeks and have been really pleased with them... I can't get over how great these things really are. If you are considering an exhaust for your ride... I highly recomend them.

Holy ****! Definitely picking those up for my truck! What engine were those behind? Ford or Chevy? That had some amazing GROWL....... just plain MEAN!

That ****er sounds GOOD, anyone know how they sound on Nailhead?????? Been tryin to find some nice sounding mufflers!!!!!

Hotsilver, they have a Riv on their website, It must have a nailhead.

 

Please, someone tell me they are not made in china.

 

On our site, front page, look for the speakers, '63 Riveria has a nailhead.
Sounds awesome, if I do say so myself.
