I hope you all have as much fun at your event as we did last week at our Billetproof Drags and Mini-Bike Drag races.

    I wish you success.

    Hello SpyGuy,
Sorry I didn't get back with you on your PM yet, Mark and I were approached by a few guys before our last race in November, saying the wanted to a Vintage Minibike 1/16th mile drags so we talked it over with the track manager, ordered a trophy, but had a rather small turn out (two). The same guys ***ured me that we have a much better turn out at our March event and "I believe we will". What are your suggestions, we're always up for trying something new to keep things interesting for spectators and racers
    Thanks..........Spike

I've kind of dropped the ball on the website, other things are taking most of my free time, like: making my 49' faster (New Motor)

Well .... honestly, I was wondering if you and some of the guys would like to come down to Tucson's Musselman P-1 Kart Circuit in February and join our event on the 13th? Last time we were there, we had about twenty riders on pocketbikes (they're minis ... just Chinese-made minis :D), five motorized bicycle riders, and a bunch of supermoto guys, plus some guys cruising around in karts. The front straightaway on the Kart Circuit is about a good 600-700ft long, probably pretty good for some drag-racing action ..... I've talked with the director of the event (I'm mainly the promoter, pit wrench, and kid wrangler :D), and he'd like this event to grow some more. Members of the GGR Scooter Club here in Tucson are planning on showing up as well. If you guys are interested, I'll shoot you my regular email and a link to his site, where we have the upcoming race schedule. (Didn't want to just flat-out advertise on the site, especially not on your thread ....... didn't think that would be very cool ....)

Otherwise, some ideas would be: road course, Tyre Fryer Contest, Best Paint, Best Restoration, Biggest Engine (DynaFlash sounds like he wants to be a contender ...), Oldest Of Show, Best HomeBuilt, People's Choice, Wheelie King ..... all stuff to think about.

Looks like a blast! Love the Dagmars and the junk-in the-trunk on the starter chic. Pretty darn cute finish line babe as well. I am sure no mini-scooters were mistreated during this display of madness!! ~Sololobo~

    Timm,
At Tuf-Enuf Race Engines has about four wild lookin vintage minibikes without motors for sale - I'm sure a few HAMB'ers could throw together something intresting before March 21st. How about a SBC-direct drive w/ a stand to push it off of when the flag drops :D if anyone intrested call Timm at 623 877-8553

Sounds pretty positive! He was over here a couple of weeks ago riding mine around my fabulous alley course and seemed to have the bug bite pretty hard! We talk every couple of days and he is always asking where to get this or that too... As of right now Craig Smith and I have one up and going. He's just painted mine in gold metalflake, and I should be ready with it by the 21st. I have one more under construction for Craig as we speak as well. We are training the incredible Miss Judy as our official jockey, but we'll see how that works out. She has a bad time with not letting go of the throttle when she stops!!! I'll be working on Hot Rod Ron to bring his out as well.

Was talking to a couple of the owners of the Musselman P-1 Kart Circuit .... if you guys feel likke getting toegther some vintage minis and coming on down sometime, they'd be open to it. Be nice to add another racing cl***, and the front stretch is plenty long enough for just simple straight-line drags.

Have fun tomorrow at the event!
