It won't be 37° AN type from a parts house, so it is one of the above.

Not necessarily true. There is also 3/16" bubble flare available. That usually comes with metric fittings, but it is always best to check. IMO, brake lines aren't a place to be anything other than 100% sure it is right.

Confirmed- They (Bubble Flairs) were mostly used on import vehicles like Healey's

  9. Bubble flares are also used on alot of late model GM cars and have been for a few years now.

I've got brake line in my garage that is labeled 3/16" and has bubble flares on it. That obviously doesn't preclude it from being 10mm just labeled 3/16", but nor does it preclude the original poster from having exactly what I have. When you buy the fittings for a bubble flare, they are listed as 3/16" or whatever size.

Look up a Weatherhead SB312 or Plews 5312ST. US Thread (3/8"-24), 3/16" pipe, bubble flare.

FWIW, I was the brakes product manager for one of the five largest distributors of autoparts in the country, not just some random guy on the internet. I don't say this to boast, just to point out that it was at one time my job to know such things.

No problem with me,,the guy ask a question about brake lines and I answered his question to the best of my knowledge a early Bronco would not use metric fittings,,I would hope the counter man knows what the gentleman needs,,HRP

By early I'll ***ume 60's or 70's will have a double flare. Just comparing it to your old one will tell you also, and if you don't have it just look at the wheel cylinder.
