I am chopping my 48 right now and some of those filler pieces are fab doable but what a pain in the ***! I am looking for each side at the drip rail and up into the roof a few inches and the front of the roof from the windshield up a few inches. I cant find one here in phoenix. Help is always appreciated. Thanks

Why not just use the pcs. you cut out from the chop. I did a 48 with 5" chop and the extra pcs. worked fine..........

because I quartered the roof it is now about 2" longer and about 1" wider. I dont have any pieces for the roof. I can do that with the doors but this is about the cab. Thanks for your input tho.

I quartered mine on a 4inch chop and just simply added in two filler strips of sheet metal.

k-member what tire size are you running? Do they rub in the front? I like the way it sits.

    Thanks fella's
Limp a second roof really makes it alot easier, that's how I did my last one, way less welding as well. But don't let that stop anyone. Go for it right.
Gearhead52, I really don't know, 15's? It's my shop/work rig and I just got the wheels and tires from SpeedNazi and just slapped em on. It does rub, but only on rare occasions like rough driveways ect.
****py phone pic of the side profile...Bags are for groceries.

kmember you didnt have to fill in at the cut where the drip rail is. where the roof and the inner channel are spot welded together? I am going to use a two inch filler strip but there is a lot of intricate bent up sheet metal right there.

There is, but I just used the drip rail pieces from the front post where the chop occured. It is easier with a spare roof, but there's alot of welding to be do anyway, just saying it's more work but it can be done. We have faith in you man, you can do it. Remember, there's no rules. Cut, weld, grind, repeat! Have fun and show us your pics.
