Great show once again guys. Last week or the week before I posted a few that were messed up for awhile ( only members could see them ) so I'm reposting 1 of them. I did this one for my Dad and His Friends B-Days ( same age 1 day apart )

 

Great show folks.....just tremendous work by everyone. Here is my contribution for the week.

 

1st time trying True Fire Flames... I'd say you nailed it. Great Job man.

 

Nice work everybody. Nothing new from as of yet. Looks like we are going to be snow bound this weekend maybe I'll get something done. Godspeed.

JohnnyJalopy- Yeah I took Zombie's advice and fixed the fender...and cleaned it up....I thought it needed some flake. I'm glad you like them... I have another cool one for next friday...can't wait to finish it!

Thankyou for finally drawing what causes me to have such a hard time walking away from boneyards with cars half in the ground thinking ... Those are so bad ... there must be something we can make out of 'em... there just has to be something.... Thanks for finally drawing it .
Like I have aways said, Anyone can restore a car, It takes a real artist to cut one up.

I don't have any photos of my first car, so I did this from memory. Jimmy Jones skirts, the old Gulf station, the shop truck, and the Lil deuce coupe where it started. It was never chopped at that point in time, but I liked that angle.

I would do screen captures to show you how
I work on some of my stuff.
Call it a 12 step program.

Late Friday but I'll take my chances. Some new guys are not going to "get" the BETA Project unless they go through the older posts and put it all together but that won't stop me from continuing the saga. I have been cleared to continue with this Off Topic escapade of automotive parody. We enter the middle 70's when disco was in and people waited in line for delivery of their brand new Volks Wagon Rabbits while others
waited in gas lines to fill their LTD Country Squires and Eldorado.

 

way cool stuff you guys!!! i'm wishing i was at GNRS right now. I made it last year and helped my boyfriend set up in the pinstriping area and had a great time....
he told me to post some artwork on here... i just painted a portrait of Kirk Jones' '60 Starliner... he said i needed to share.. i'm a little apprehensive here... i haven't posted any artwork... heck.. i'm not even positive i'm in the right spot... so if i'm wrong... help me out a bit fellas!!!

i actually want your feedback.. I was thinking of doing the "starliner" script above the car in chrome looking paint technique...whatcha think?
