A friend parked this 37 coupe in 1973! Now, I need to bring it back from the dead. Good news, it's been inside the whole time. But I'll need certain parts for it (gas tank/hydrauilc brake parts......). Are there any "sites" that might be dedicated to these cars that I might visit? Thanks, guys
Try http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php for starters and also Egge in California could be Burbank but not 100% sure. Another is Kanther but you will need to do a search and then of course there is allegedly that Cadillac parts thief in Los Angeles. Finally check this site out http://www.flatcaddy.com/
lemme know how it goes, I have a '37 sedan that has been parked since '51 that is going to need the same once over.
I have a clean '40 LaSalle gas tank with straps for free for a HAMBer. Not sure if its the same as a '37 though. I can send pics if interested. I took it out and replaced it with a Mustang tank for my kustom. Brian
Kanter and Egge are good for brake and engine parts. I have some used drums and brake setups I won't use. www.egge.com www.kanter.com http://www.cadillaclasalleclub.org/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=51ffc1714d10c67d362502512a444d38&
i HAVE BOTH FRONT COMPLETE BRAKE BACKING PLATES AND DRUMS I REMOVED FROM A 37 CADILLAC SERIES 75. YOU WOULD HAVE TO CHECK IN A HOLLINDER BOOK TO SEE IF THEY ARE THE SAME AS THE LASALLE. THEY ARE AVAILABLE. PM ME. PAUL
