I need help. I drive my cl***ics daily. I CANNOT find an insurance company that will insure me. My wife and I have not had a ticket or an accident in 7 years. Whenever I apply for a policy they give me this ******** about having a daily driver late model. I dont own a late model. I have three cl***ics all in great shape. HELP! I dont want to lie to my company in case of an accident. Ive already checked with Hagerty, Aeon, and Grundy. ALL had same story...Shows only, MUST have late model to qualify. WTF AUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I think Liberty mutuall will insure it but you need it appraised yearly. I think someone said State farm will do oldercars as well.

Did you try a regular insurance company like State farm or Allstate? If you want just liability they should do it. If you want collision also sometimes they will cover for a stated value like the specialty co's do.

Nationwide insures old cars too. I've got a "replacement value" policy with them for my '51 and NO RESTRICTIONS on when/where/how often I drive it. I shopped around all the places you did, thinking I might be able to get a better deal. In the end, I'm paying about what I pay for my other daily drivers with no BS. I do have a Nationwide policy for my house and two late model cars, so not sure if you'll have any trouble insuring cl***ics exclusively. Hell, I can't see why you would? The clean driving record is also bound to help. Give em a shout and see what they can do.

I had both my 64 and 59 galaxies insured by Mercury. it seems that if it is older than the mid 50's there are issues with getting them insured.

I have State Farm on my '66 and '62 Fords. No h***le, but liability only. Haggarty and other "cl***ic" carriers won't insure a cl***ic as a daily driver. That's why they want you to prove you have something else to drive. I'm interested in finding out more about the replacement cost! What's the scoop on this?
    Thanks,
    Billy

as long as we are on this topic...
if you have full coverage on your car and it's not perfect, ie paint job...
how do you get it appraised? i know call someone, but to get it appraised at somewhat of a reasonable amount. my car is in primer, but the rest is redone/cleaned/rebuilt. without a paint job usually it aint worth ****.
moved and need to find a new company myself, courious what everyone else does.

If your driving record is as great as you say, State Farm will definately insure you. They told me to get bent! I'm using Progressive until State Farm will take me. I talked the Progressive agent into giving me liability AND Comprehensive on my '55 Ford.
