O.k. flake gurus, I've got a project that I'm working on that needs to be all flake and I have an area that is going to be white, since I don't believe there is a white flake, what's the best way to simulate this? Something with a pearl? Any one have some examples they can post up? Thanks for the help.
I used Abolone Flake but it apears purple, green and or red in the sun depending on the angle. Not just white
Diamond dust over White base? Check out some craft glitters. Some melt, but some of them will hold up in paint long enough to shoot.
Well, Since White Candy would be...milk? Abalone or silver over white seems to be the winner here. Maybe mix some course poly in the white (They sell white polychrome) then shoot a little silver flake over it.
white pearl is your best option....do it as a tri stage and it will look best....the best tristage white was the Mitsu. Galant color from a few years back...it looked just like frosting...ive sprayed a bunch of stuff with that color code but i dont remember it off hand..look up a chip deck and youll find it!
use ICE pearl, its big pearl i did a boss hoss with white ice pearl, and it looked metal flake, secret is use lots of it i mean lots so it covers almost all the white it'll amaze you how alsome it looks man does it sparkel
