I don't mind the more understated two tone combos. Green on green, brown on brown with a little black. I think the black top on a blue body would look unbalanced without black fenders. But in the end its your car, so do do what you will be happy with.

No chance of putting fenders on it now! It's turning out just the way I wanted...

Finished the masking and painted the trunk and the drivers side windows. All that's left is the rear window and then the scuffing to knock the shine off.

Got me some of the new SoCal rear shocks yesterday. What a huge difference in the ride! Definately recommend them! Also picked up the new Lokar drilled s**** gas pedal. Should work nicely with the drilled shifter i'm making. I'll post some pic's when I get them installed.
    There's still plenty to do...

  14. Looks good Bob. I may have missed it, what process/ product are you using for paint?

Your '31 is looking great. I love the fact that you've kept it simple. It reminds me of Jake's tub, just looking at it makes you want to go out and drive the wheels off of it. Nothing but pure fun!

Thanks...I wanted to find a driver,to see if I would like a Hotrod. Ever since seeing Chris Casny's Coupe,I wanted to build one. It just happened to work out with G***ersGarage, that he wanted my son's Shoebox and I was looking for a Hotrod. It's great cause the car needed NOTHING! I just didn't like the way it looked. It's coming along nicely,a little at a time. Chris is right...there's nothing like driving a Hotrod!

We're expecting rain the next few days,so I made the Coupe a raincoat!!!! the only piece of sheetmetal was too narrow,so I had to get by with what I had. It should work fine. Plus I can use it for a template later...

  30. SIGHTING OF THE ROAD TOAD. Today here in Bakersfield at the DMV hahahahaha. He has another Hambers old car also he completely changed it too But hey its all whatever makes the owner happy. A Hamber got to ride in it and he said man that thing is built to race. No pics but just so you all know its not really the way as it has last been seen here, it has white spots now where the green has been sanded down.-Weeks
