Amazing, with all this GREAT information I will be reading for months. I just bought a 54 Belair Hardtop and wiating for warmer weather to lay on the cement with it. I will continue to read and learn much till then.
Welcome from next door.....sorta. How about telling us a little more about yourself. The who and the what. It helps us to know the FNGs. And, keep us posted on the progress on the 54....photos and words.
Welcome from Nebraska. Your 54 looks like a cool project. Post some more pictures of it if you have some.
Welcome aboard! Had a 54 Belair 2 door sedan myself and a lot of great memories stayed behind with me after I let it go. Fun ride for sure. Enjoy yours!
Thanks for the welcome! I had a 54 210 as my first car and I wanted to get another one to drive around again. This one is in fair shape but does need alot of work. I will start with the engine and drive line, brakes and tighten up the stearing. The engine does leak oil when it is running, not sure where. I live by Florence, Colorado, and I am waiting for warmer weather to lay on the cemment and look for the leak and start on it. I am retired and will have time to play. I have been thinking about what to do with this, what interior, paint, tires, etc. but first have to get the mechanical issues checked out and fixed. While the weather is cold I will be readin up on issues and engine swaps. Making notes of ideas that I can use. Thanks again for the welcome to the forum.
