Flathead 6 water pump

I have tried to find a shop that sells rebuild kits or rebuilt water pumps for my
1948 Ford F1 pickup with the 226 flathead six.
Any suggestion who I should ask?

You might go on line to Rock Auto as well as Auto Zone, Advance, NAPA and other parts stores in your area. If you find what you need order on line, because if you do not even with their part number the local clerk will say it's not in his computer so they don't make them.

My local mom and pop parts house sent mine in to their rebuilder. Got it back in a week and it works great.

I bought a lot of stuff from http://www.cgfordparts.com/ never any problem. They got the most parts if you into old Fords, nice and friendly.

If you haven't rebuilt your pump yet, Kanter Auto Products has rebuilt water pumps available for the 226 for $102 with an $86 core charge. Hope this helps.
