Then we left and drove to Dick Nash's house. Dick has a 50 Lincoln custon. It's for sale for under 20K. Nice car with a 337 flathead w/auto.

Then we drove to leadsledmerc's house to see his Model A sedan that's getting SLAMMED! He was going to weld up the frame as soon as Woody and I got out of his way.

one last shot of the "tourists" before Woody and I hit the road to put some wear on our tires. It was a beautiful day for a tour. The temps were finally above freezing and I could stow the drivers door curtain and turn off the heater.(the fan slighly drowns out the sound of my pipes)

Thanks, Paul. Looks like a great time. Woody's car has a great stance. I like the hood on the roadster. Looks great. If I won mega millions, I think I'd have to buy that Merc from Dick. I have always liked it. The greens are kinda weird, but it has a certain charm.

Nice to see folks still out driving in this cold...

    Jim,
It was just supposed to be breakfast in Wareham. Then it just evolved. We'll have to make plans for a real tour. Maybe we need to plan to just meet for breakfast somewhere in between. How far are you from Middleboro? There's a nice "fifties" diner there.

Middleborro, not Malboro. It's only about five miles from Star drive-in.
It's just off of 495 and Rt 18/105

It was another great day cruisin the area.
Dick's asking $18k for that '51 baby Lincoln. It's got some Barris history behind it and it's a real clean car all around.
The Zephyr is a '41 he's been workin on about a year and he hopes to get it out for choping this year.
    Good eye Dennis!

John, you're too much. I guess you'll just have to wait until spring.

You and your dad should be proud.

Great pics! It's nice to see some other members from MA and RI on the board, I was starting to wonder if there were any.

Seems like you guys are in my neck of the woods, I used to live about ten minutes from Star until I moved to Newport.

  25. wow - cool cars - hey I am going to be in Ashburnham this weekend - anything going on????
