well seems as though the mainstream has got us by the balls.but it`s kool anyways.the writer acctually interviewed me for the mag as well as several others.my car club(Salvagerz) is mentioned as well as few other Florida car clubs.well hope you all like what i had to say. www.autoweek.com go to the "REVS" section.
Neat article. There was a similar one in the New York Times this week. "Roots rods," huh? I like that term, it's very apt.
[ QUOTE ] The 1980s???? Damn, he thinks I'm old! [/ QUOTE ] .........you tested F1 cars???? DAMN!! I didn't know that. I was a regular (spectator) at Watkins Glen and Mosport in the late '60's and early '70's. Saw Emmo win his first F1 race. Used to get into the Kendal Tech Center for 50 cents and watch the teams work. Damn Ryan..........you really ARE "The Man!" (nice article also.......)
That's very cool indeed....Autoweek????? Next we'll be in People magazine and Ryan will be named "***iest Man Alive."
[ QUOTE ] .........you tested F1 cars???? DAMN!! I didn't know that. [/ QUOTE ] VERY impressive, if you had taken the time to do an intro we would have know that.
its the 7th of decemeber? ****! damn cool stuff but the article kind of seems like they're cliche-ing the hobby. Maybe not their intention but i wished they wouldnt have put the picture in the end w/ the iron cross.

Thats the coolest job on the planet! Which drivers did you get to meet while testing? For you non-F1 people this probably looks fimiliar to Ryan...
yo Johnnyb327,that is my buddy`s ride that cross has been on there since 1988.anyways,i made sure to mention the people who least get right ups around the dirty south, seems everybody thinks it is just pastels around these parts.funny though i have met a **** load of transplants lately.well hope you all liked the kind words.later....

The 60s and 70s at the Glen was fantasitic. The drugs and parties were good and the racing even better.
squigs sorry i didn't know that the cars been that way since 88 (and i bet those who read the magazine wont either) damn cool though and instead of saying "i wished" i should have said, included more cars that weren't primer or flat black.
[ QUOTE ] The 1980s???? Damn, he thinks I'm old! [/ QUOTE ] I knew about the the F1 cars, but I thought the same thing when I saw the part about the 80's.......I think your about my age, which would have made you about seven or eight when you were testing F1's! lol........
johnnyb327,sorry i was such a s***bag, just took it personal.but you are right,no one knows that fact. Nads, you mean you dont know those guys? i did mention The Rumblers though. i hope you know them.
