After a good deal of trouble trying to get a picture of my '47 this is all I have to show for it. Maybe when I get a little patience I'll try again. Anyway pretty stock lookin 47. The car was free so I'm not complaining. A friend of my dads bought it for $20 and sold the spindles of it for $25. Said he made money on it so I could have. I had to go pull it out of a river bed with a pack-rat's (real animal) nest in it. Anyway since then I picked up a chevy big-block and a four speed for it. The ch***is is almost finished, just need to weld the motor mounts in. Mustang II, nine inch, leafs inside the frame rails out back. Next project make it run. I'm a college student living in eastern oregon, allmost finished. Probably move to Portland OR in a few months and look for a job. I probably should have lurked longer than I did, hopefully no harm done.

I had a 47 just like that in 1959, only it was lime green and complete. I paied $35. for it. I put long shackels from Pep Boys in the front and cut the roof off. I seized the motor coming back from Oxnard, due to the fact I had removed the baffels from the fuel pump push rod pipe and I blew all the oil out. I left a blue cloud from Oxnard to Malibu. I sold it to a friend for $25. And he sold the ****** to another friend for $50.just one more car I wish I still had.So welcom to the HAMB maybe your good fortune will rub off on some of the people here. Pogo
Welcome. Your ride sounds like it's going to be cool and your dad's car is just jaw-dropping! Are you going to run that Edelbrock triangular air cleaner? Word is they're mucho dangerous. One good backfire and they become a fireball.

Hey FatfenderJ, nice ride BTW I lived in Ontario for about 5 years and have some real close friends and a cousin in LaGrande. Welcome...
The '32 is the real deal. Pop bought it in 1961 for $600. He paid 50 a month for it. He said all the guys in the area wanted to buy it but nobody had the bread. He was the first to ask about payments and the rest is history...
