I cant belive my 1st vacation in 2 yrs and you have to have the drags the same weekend. My car was made for that track. Maybe next year. Let me know when so i dont make nonrefundable plans for the same time.

If you ran faster than the record you broke out? I thought if you broke the record and made a backup p*** within a percentage you set a new record. How did a record get broke if you weren't allowed to run faster than the record? .[/QUOTE]

You could set the records during time trials at divisonal races.
Sorry for not clarifiing that.

I am headed to Fort Worth for an event that we help sponsor, and will swing by the track to take a look at. Never been there, and want to see the place. I understand the track opens this weekend to start its season.

we finaly got a schedule at ardmore,(the weekend before) if we have any parts and $$$$$$ left we'll try to make it!! hope to see every one at the thaw!!

great sponsors coming in!!!!! Support you local vendors that help put on the se events. Guys with 65-72 year model cars will want to pre-register as soon as you can, there will be a cut off to keep the event from getting over ran.

Nothing but positive news coming in for this event. Cant say enough how thankful we are for all the support locally and nationaly.

if you all need to test and tune, bring'em to ardmore the weekend before, if you break or it doesn't work you still got a week to do some ironing out!!

 

I scheduled a weeks vacation right between this event and Ardmore the weekend before .That way i can make sure im off work for both.The Dart is gunna get a workout this season ...
