Disc Brakes

Does anyone know if ther is a way to put disc brakes on a 40 Dodge truck axle? My axle will work perfect for what im doing but the front brakes are not the best.

 

Check with Chassis Engineering.

 

Chuck Grove-425-398-1634. He's made several sets for older Mopar axles and can make a set for yours too.

Check with OLDDADDY on here. Go to his member page and then his home page. I'm pretty sure he has a kit to convert your stuff over to discs.

I just added disc brakes to my '39 TC.

 

Sweet! Now I know that I can put this axle under my truck for sure.

 

Why are the bleeders on the bottom?

 

X2! something is definitly wrong there.

 

Ooosp! Gonna' be a fun time come bleedin' time.

 

It look like you just need to swap sides with them and it should be no issue.

 

That is why I am on this forum. Thanks for pointing out my rookie mistake!

 

Rusty Hope makes them for the Mopar trucks and he is on the HAMB . You can just buy the bracket and find the other parts or buy the complete set up and do it the easy way .
