I picked up this pair of lights at the last swap. What do they fit? The guy I got them from said COE truck, but I looked at alot of pics of them, and don't see these lights. They look like they could be turn signals? I figure clearance lights would be orange. The remnants of the lense is white. I'd like to find out so I can buy lenses that go to them. They are die cast and have the # 2328331 inside. They are originally green with the yellow painted over that.
Due to the yellow paint, I thought that at first, but these are too small to go up on the roof.. Thats why I figure they are marker lights or turn signals..maybe markers or T/s for a bus.. I looked on google for 50's COE's and school buses. Didn't see these on anything.
Where do they go? On the fenders? I was looking at lots of pics of those today, and they all had the usual round lights sticking out of the sides.
They are turn signal lights from a 55 - 59 Chevy / GMC truck. I'm not sure of the series, but it was one of the bigger ones, perhaps a Low Cab Forward. The lights mounted on top of the front fenders, but the fenders were extended out, kinda like giant fender flairs.
Yeah, that the one. The Oregon ILL. fire dept. had one for sale a few years ago. Seems like it sold for a pretty cheap price.
