Cogratulations! I'm also a recent convert. A Christmas present from my wife, Sandy. I agree with you...feels good. Being a Grenade Inspector was really unsafe.

I just opted from being a fng to an alliance member right away ,This place is great ,Filled with good fun and friends.I didn't like being labeled a newbie .I did it when I joined within a few month's .I Didn't use any of the perks though. Bought a couple of shirts and can't wait till the next batch arrives.....

Alliance membership does feel good. Its probably one of the only places you can drop $50 and know that its staying in the country and supporting something that offers a lot.

I was steered here after my first Austin Roundup. Don't know how many hours I lurked, soaking in the wealth of knowledge and pure entertainment. It dawned on me the other day that not buying a membership was like stiffing a good waitress. Best $50 I've spent in a long time.....

 

The Hamb has done so much for me it is hard to describe all the help and the many things I have learned.

If you believe in it, then support it or it goes away!

Just joined up as an alliance member myself, well worth it for what the HAMB has to offer.

 

You're really going to like the firewall tag! I dropped a couple of car magazine subscriptions that I really didn't read anymore. Diverted the $50 here instead. Wife noticed (and points out) that I'm here all the time anyway. I said "OK I'll do Something about that". So I signed up.

 

That is an excellent comparison, I am glad that I am not the only one that has these feelings about the HAMB and what it offers. "COME ON ALL YOU FNGs PONY UP"

I take a couple hours to read through a new car magazine. then it sets by my recliner till the wife gets mad and makes me put them up...I'm on here every day...lots more bang for the buck, also a magazine will never tell you how stupid and dumb you are

Being the only non alliance member on this thread, I just want to say....I need to earn that HAMB ALLIANCE MEMBERSHIP! I could have just went ahead and got one, but I figure I got a lot of learnin to do, and working my way up the ranks is like going to skool, I gots to graduate to my grade 12 before I can be red, but thank God for all these great members and people, as I seem to learn a bit everyday! and hopefully this learnin stuff will help get my hod-rodding to new levels I could never imagin, and a lot of thanks go out to all you members! Im excited for the days of stoppin by some show and knowing the members by the cars that I have studied thu this site. But until then...I will have to settle for the ranks set forth by the peers above me!

 

Hell, it's the only hotrod site worth going to anyway. Good people, great products, lots of help when ya need it and sometimes when ya don't. And you help support it by joining so JOIN already and get it over with

I had planned to join the Alliance this year for sure, and after seeing this thread and reading the ****ogy about stiffing a good waitress I decided today was going to be the day! Not sure if my name will be red yet cause I just pressed the magical join ****on litterally a minute ago, but if it isn't it will be soon! Already planning to put my new discount to good use on a set of coker www tires in the near future
