Anybody making an affordable steel T reproduction body? Brookville and Last Refuge have A's. Shadowrods has a T but it's too pricey for me. I don't have the skills to resurrect a ravine-find, and I don't want fibergl***. I would think that there'd be a good demand for some manf. to make these but I don't know of any. Do you?
I'd think if you're looking to spend 5k, you could find a pretty nice original body with a little bloodhound work.
T bodies are not too hard to find, and usually pretty cheap. I don't think anybody repops a good body in steel.
You've painted yourself into a really tight corner. Affordable has many meanings and your desire for "affordable" could be interpreted by some as "cheap". Cheap brings it's own can of worms the least of which is unworkable or more work than practical. The offerings you mentioned are quality products that in reasonably skilled hands have the potential to produce a quality result. Anything less will require more work than your apparently willing or qualified to do. It's a catch 22 and unfortunately no solution in sight. The manufacturers of the fore mentioned bodies have millions (yes plural) invested in bringing their products to market. A gamble of this magnatude justifies a reasonable profit and sadly some (like the clowns in Washington) think profit is a dirty word. Frank
