FNG here with a '51 F-1 with original paint (well, what's left of the orginal paint anyhow). I've heard very good things about Ankor Wax on protecting, or at least slowing, the deterioration while keeping the look the same and I would like to get me some. However, it only seems to be sold overseas. Anyone know where to get some in the US?

  2. Isn't that an ancient city in Cambodia?

    John,

Do you know of any similiar products sold here? Thanks.

  5. Search Gibbs products here. Sounds like what you are looking for.

Tman, thanks for the Gibbs idea. Have you ever used the stuff? The seemingly appealing about Ankor wax is that you can paint it on... would Gibbs over the same consistency (they do look very similiar)?

  7. You can paint over Gibbs, most of the bare metal cars in Rodders Journal have this on em

I was just going to edit my question above but you beat me to it... I guess the real question is will it work over paint as well? I have a lot of areas that have some surface rust, a lot of oxidized paint, and some paint... Everything I see on the HAMB with Gibbs only talks about bare metal. Thanks for your help again. I guess I could always call them up?
