Engine question

    Is the little 144/200/250 Ford 6 a viable option in the HA/GR?

    Yes, there are already a few HA/GRs running with them and a few more coming. The 144 was available in 1960 and a 200cid is considered a legacy engine with no major design changes. A 250 might be a stretch, though...

    I planned on running a 144 stroker in the first car I started but the IRS thought differently.

    Check out Rocky's thread for Toymaker he is using a small 6 Ford

    Thanks for the info.I know they do run good.I had a 250 in my Mavrick.They do make more power than U think

    There is a straight 8 Pontiac out here in Cal.

    Yeah, brand new late last year and upgrading already this year. Coolest looking car at the "the 'Field" for my money. :cool:

    The weight wouldn't be a problem...just build the rest of the car light...Use lots of holey stuff and it shouldn't be a factor.:p
