    Ok Guys and Gals,
having a complete brain fart of a day and can't get any ideas in my head.
Has anyone connected cables instead of rods to an early stromberg with the 'ball' type end on the levers? If so how?
    Pictures would be great
    Thanks
    Bob

Attach (solder) the cable end to the factory ball style rod end.

Some late 70's ford pickups and broncos had a straight pull cable that snapped onto a ball stud @ the carb. Some of the same era trucks with 6 cyl engines had a sheathed cable (non straight pull) that had the same ball stud attachment at the carb. For longer cable look at vans. some gm vehicles had a snap on ball attachment as well.

you can buy a "pull snap" end liek hes talkin bout at napa its made for a rod but i see no problem in drilling the side and tapping it for a bolt to clamp the cable in it.

Lokar sells this style, not sure if the ends are available seperately.
