Well, after channeling my 29' dodge brothers 10 inches in the front and 4 in the back, i still had too much head space. I decided to go conservative on the chop, a mere 2 inches, but it really helped the proportions. I im happy with how its coming out, but folks on here really make it look easy. I was a little crooked, but its square now
Lookin good.. I remember seeing your flatbead and car in car craft? or was it hotrod.. or was it the magazine I can't say here on the HAMB?
My ply coupe has 4" outa it, sinister all the way to the 2 1/2" rear window Chopped mopars are so nice, one that comes to mind was built by a HAMBer chip
My only worry is that your still gonna be able to shoehorn that giant frame of yours into it. 6'4 is rough to work with. I know I'd probably look like Herman Munster sitting in it now.
Looks like a great start, cant wait to see the progress. That's a heavy channel. I did some math preparing to chop and channel my own 29', and at 6'3 my measurements equal a 4'' channel and 3'' chop as my limit to still have a somewhat comfortable amount of room left once i'm done.
this car's on craigslist in seattle, isn't it? edit:nevermind-double checked the pics, answered my own question.
