Man, I'm 15 again...

 

What I gather is the track closed down in the sixty's. This guy and his wife bought it and restored the track. It took the both of them 18 months to clear all the trees and vegetation. You can go to 176racing.com for more info. I'll try to find the url to the site that shows the before pics.

That's it Carl S. I was there. Awsome time. I can hear those flathead Fords and six cyl. Chevy's, and smell fumes.

 

Sometimes as I fall asleep I can still hear and smell them too; and that's from 1959 and earlier.
