:confused:Hey Folks, I need to replace the joints on my 63 Thunder Chicken and the price for the uppers is out of site, is there a way to modify the press type to a screw type (sounds like a *** and drug post)=8') . I also have kicked it around to replace the control arms with the type that I use on my Super Stock dirt ch***is, the upper is not to critical but the lower will take some time. Suggestions?????

If this car is not an every day driver, spend the money, do it right, it will last you the rest of your life. Make it so they can be greased.

not sure about teh birds, but us galaxie guys grind out the rivets and use bolt in replacements..

lets face facts, no one makes ball joints like they used to for most cars.. some cars like chevy impalas or muscle cars have great products out there.. but for galaxies atleast, the new stuff isnt half as good as original
