Coil spring insulators on Fatmans MII ??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Michigander, Feb 5, 2010.

  1. On the Fatmans MII setups that use regular coil springs, are you using the stock MII coil spring top insulators? From what I heard, they won't fit in the Fatmans top hat. I'm affraid of getting spring squeak with the metal on metal seat on top.

Unless you're rockin' and rollin' in the backseat you shouldn't have any squeeks without them!

From`years of dealing with squeaks in front ends the spring squeaks are usually due to rust. I like the idea of the insulators if you can fit them in though.
