  2. It's not a Dodge, but search the High and Mighty. Probably the most famous Mopar biz coupe ever!

Yeah thats a bad *** car . My buddy had a 49 plymouth biz coupe and I loved that car he sold it before we got to do anything with it so when I spotted the dodge I had to have it . Im thinking of just doing a mild custom since the car is in such great shape . I just cant make my mind up on the colors. It still has the original baby blue paint but it would need a new coat because its had some body work done . Im thinking of keeping the baby blue and making the top white white some flake and doing the interior in light brown leather because I have a big *** leather couch that I could strip the leather from for the bench and maybe the door panel . what do you think?

No pictures to share. I have a 49 Plymouth, Black, red steel wheels, original plymouth hubcaps, low profile good year eagles. Motor, flathead, dual carbs, exhaust, ported and head cut .70. Overdrive Transmission. Have driven it as far a Detroit. Nice car, with a little work they run really good.

Wow, that thing is really sweet. Don't think I've ever seen a 49 Dodge business coupe. I've seen a few plymouths. Is that original paint? No rust?

Thanks man . Its the original paint and it does have some rust but just on the surface except for one rot spot behind the driver side door. All the floors are great and every thing works and is original . I need to take it in and have the brakes bleed and fix a leak in the rear brake line but other than that she's tip top.

Great find, good luck with the build!

  12. Nice find. What's the red plastic container in the corner of the engine
bay?? You could do a little hop-up on that flathead six with a finned aluminum
head and a couple 1 barrels plus a split exhaust manifold. To make it do better
on the freeway, you can swap in a later model mopar rear end. Then let er rip, Rev.

  13. great car... I love the way those looked slammed because of that HUUUUUUUUUGE trunk.. all i gotta say is baby got back lol..

The last one has a wedge sectioned hood and trunk. Lots of work, especially on that chunky ol´****, but it really helps the flow.
