I've never seen an FE tripower with 3 bolt bases. Expect to pay as high as $1500 or more for a nice restored set up with all the right stuff.

Don't know if you mean stock or aftermarket, but I have an FE edelbrock manifold with 3-bolt bases. Some carbs I had off a Y-block fit on there. I can get pics if you want 'em.

My aftermarket Edelbrock 6x2 FE intake is a 3 bolt base for strombergs and Holley 94's.

I got mine from a friend for $200 with carbs and linkage. I spent $100 having a hairline crack welded, from the heat riser, which I also had welded up, (highly recommended) and another $420 getting the carbs rebuilt and reanodized.

In restored condition they are supposed to be worth $1500 to $3000 complete. They work great and give excellent performance and fuel milage. KK

Sorry, I forgot I've never seen a factory Tri-power with 3 bolt base. In fact I've never seen even aftermarket one with 3 bolt, that wasn't for a Y-Block. KK

hmmmmmmm well keep me updated if anyone heard of or sees an FE tri power setup w/ 3 bolt bases let me kno it would be for a shoebox so i would like to keep it as much period as i can w/ 390 so strombergs or holleys or even rochesters would be my optimum choice however i could always go with a 4 bolt base and use adapters to make it 3 bolt but then i run into the problem of the afro engingeering

Slow... NO FE manifolds came from the factory with 3 bolt bases.....so if ya wanna be "period correct" that would be 4 bolt bases ....I also have NEVER seen a 3 bolt FE base ......(aftermarket could have made ANYTHING tho' .....)

Most all the aftermarket manifolds were 3 bolt for strombergs. Usually $200 or under, on E-Pay often......OLDBEET
