Yeah im happy with it.everyone says that about woodland,and i always ***ume nobody knows where it is!

 

I love Gr*** Valley, interviewed for a job there a few years back, and went to the July 4th. deal in Nevada City and Gr*** Valley, been wanting to come up for the Roamin Angels Show.

So Dru what going on? you guys been sleeping at night or something?
any progress? pics?

 

Rustygem, I HIGHLY recommend that show! There were nearly 900 cars last year, good food, a bunch of vendors, car art, etc... a great time...

Woodland is kind of tucked away far off 80, but I think it's better that way...keeps the city idiots from taking over your town...

ehhhh....no news. truck is still sitting the way it was in the last photo. bennie and i have been hammering out his notch and a couple other things. vince said he will have it done for BILLETPROOF now. i guess we will have to wait and see.

 

when is billetproof again?

Yeah, well to be honest with everyone watching I am a little disappointed too. We had two guys said they would be able to have driveable cars by a deadline, they had alot of help but somehow it didnt get done. We got Bennies done though so I guess 1 is better than none.

I guess if this was easy though everyone would be doing it.

Hey Dru, I am looking for something to send you to keep busy with for me! Thinking a 40's/50's truck! OR a 53/54 Chevy...that way I will have both of the hot body styles! I will let you know what I want done to it and you can take some liberties with it as well! LOL! Hows your RockStar? I decided against the chop I think and am just shaving, painting and the front end and bumpers are going lower!!!!

 

Hey what happend to you guys? You tease us then leave us. J/K I know you got other projects, but could you flash some pics of your front suspension if you have it done. I"m building a 56 also and getting ready to do my bags, looking for some insight. Can't wait to see yours done.

 

Working with friends is probably one of the best things about cars. Everyone's out there bustin' knuckles and having a good time.

 

small update but no pics (sorry albums are full and i need to create an offsite acct). the motor is all painted now and dressed with some nice valve covers and painted pulleys.

other than that...its all sittin the in the same spot. dont worry though....i am gonna be makin space in our shop for my new model A rpu. that thread will start soon...keep your eyes open.

 

Well guys and gals, its 1-5-2010, I'm still putt'n along on my truck. With some changes in the way I wanted to build the truck and $$$$$, things have slowed down, but like I said we havent given up on that ol yellow *****..lol One thing I learned along the way are deadlines **** and they are uncalled for!!! Anyways it is getting closer and we have new picks, just gotta get them on here. All my buddies are getting ready for Viva and hopefully I'll be cruising through the desert with them...

Well guys its been some time since my last post, but me and Vern have still been spending some late nights at the shop. I've got my dash pretty much m***aged back into shape(i'll put some pics of it later), motor mounts are made and in, ****** mount is half way done, found some wheels and had them powder coated, and picked up some tires, heres a few pics, try to get more soon. Gonna be out at Turlock in couple weeks trying to track down some more parts. I'm still shoot'n for Viva!!!!

You da' man....lets get this damn truck on the road already man. I wanna roll into VLV13 with the whole crew together.

 

Just left the shop....Vince is cutting and chopping away. Inner fenders are getting trimmed to to clear the A arms, motor mounts are finished, spider caps are on,... he should have some pics up when he gets a chance.
