Ok, For any of you guys in AZ or westcoasters who may have been there. Last year on my ride to Laughlin I p***ed this"Junk" yard in the middle of the mountains about 30-40 mi north of the I-10.. It was the Salome Rd Exit. It takes you up behind the white tank mountains over a p*** into Salome. It was 110 out when I went by, call me dillusional, but that place was packed with Patina. At least 2 acres. There was a Model A ontop of a phone pole as I drove by. Ihave a buddy in Havasu who has been there and the guy is a little pricey from what he says....Anyonbe been there or up for a HAMB field trip now that it has coolen off and we dont have to worry about snakes and scorpions...Of course black widows still an issue...But heell..I will take my chances. I spied a 40 chevy in there if you guys go up there, see if he has a pr of 40 chevy headlight pods w the guts intact i need a pr for that 40 4 dr i just got.
I can round up a truck that seats 4 comfortable with a trailer to haul up just incase. Will need to start selling off some ****... LIKE MY HARLEY... Time to build another bike. When I sell the bike... LOOK OUT..HAHAHAHA <snaps himself back to reality> Ok. I will post and try to get some time late Jan for the trip up. I am tied up on both weekends after the holidays. Yeah, definatly call before you head out. Best if you are looking for something in particular and give them the impression you are a restorer or at least a preservationist. I have the number around here somewhere, I am pretty sure I posted this info a year or so ago, may still be in the archives.
