A '40 Chevy truck sounds pretty cool, post some pics of your build. We're really into the traditional rods and customs here, with lots of good tech info and inspiration out the wazoo. Lots of good builders on here. The "R" word might raise some hackles... Check out the archives and tech sections, you can find info on just about anything related to car building. Welcome from Wisconsin. May I suggest you read a few threads and get the feel for how many on this site feel about the word Ratrod? We dont want you to get off on the wrong foot.
sorry about the "r" word from now on i just call it cl***ic rod, i'm just in to the hole thing of open wheel, low and old. and i've read a thread on flat black or rusty, i don't care just as long as you drive it, no trailer.
