Howdy H.A.M.B. Have been doing some reading on here for a while now. Enjoy the pics and stories and learning a bunch too. Nothing but respect for the work you all have done. Have never owned a vehicle in the decade it was made and don't plan on starting now. I have spent more of the last twenty years on two wheels than four. My 86 HD fxrp, purchased in 91 has around 300k on her now. I joined for some help in identifying a rig, I have owned for a dozen years. It is ***led as a 1971 Chevrolet MH. I'm guessing the year closer to 1960, but have yet to find a tag or vin on the vehicle. Not sure how to post a pic here but was able to get a couple into the album on my profile. Hope someone can give me the real poop on, what I have been sitting on. Knowing that will help me decide if I'm fixing it or selling it. Thanx again for the many hours of enjoyment I had being a lurker... <CR>
Hi, I'm from Blodgett (between Newport and Corvallis). No idea what kind of van you have, but if it could talk, I bet it could tell some wild stories. Interesting conversion.
How-d from the Coos coast! I'd say your rig is a mid 60's StepVan homemade conversion...but a '71??? (but, if that's what the paperwork says...OK!) It just doesn't look like that new of a body style to me...and I've had several. I dig FXR's too. (wish my softail project had been an FXR ch***is insted). Ya got a pic of it...and where on the coast are you??
