Anyone has a source for, or where to buy blue metalflake upholstery material. I need a small amount.....enough to make a headrest cushion about the size of a dinner plate.......maybe a 2 foot square?
You can also go here for cheaper and a better selection. http://www.interiormall.com/cat/ndi...=805&page=1&pgcnt=12&color=&wt=&orderby=Price
Like skwurl said, check Han**** fabrics if there one in your area. I was looking for white angel hair and they had some as well some metalflake fabrics.
Here's another. I have dealt with them.Great service & they will send samples.http://www.garysupholstery.com
Beware of getting the cheap glitter vinyl. Some of that stuff will fade in less than a month outside. I had a motorcycle seat that went from red to not red pretty quickly. If I'm not mistaken, Zodiac brand from Naugahyde is pretty fade resistant. The rest, I'm not so sure.
I'm looking for some small pieces, red or grey or silver or ?? I'm doing an old stool .. Anyone have any s****s ?
Last time I sourced from a boat interior/canopy builder and used marine grade, was UV resistant, etc. but not cheap.
Here is the stool , I'd guess its a late 50's Cosco I need to make the seat / back look better and needs more cushion too
If you want it for automotive seats/interior, you need to find it in marine grade material. I use several sources, but you might try www.diyupholstrysupply.com and American Trim, which is in Tulsa, Ok. or at www.amtrim.com
