  2. I won't to give my 54 a wicked chop but I never did one. Any advice? Also if anyone's in Wisconsin and wont's to help in a few months when I'm out of the ARMY let me know....

  3. Well how did ya do it? What body is it my car is a Del Ray so I was thinking of using a doner window out of something like a 50 Ford or something. I don't know how to chop but I figure I'm getting out of the army because of a injery I got in Iraq so I'll have some time on my hands.

  4. Killer pics guys keep them roll'n!!!!!

:D Now this '54 looks real cool most likely the styling was taken from the "Moonglow". The red and pink can't hold a candle to the white '54.

No offense, HotRod Flash, but you're going about this the wrong way.

First you should do a search of the HAMB - there are plenty of old threads showing chops on 53-54 Chevies. (Click on "Search" at the top of your screen. Then click "Advanced Search" at the bottom of the little menu that appears. Then search for threads with "chop" in the ***le and you should find at least some of them. Try "Chevy" too.)

Then, when you have specific questions start your own thread with a nice, specific ***le. Photos help.

I chopped my own '53 Chevy (the one in my avatar) and I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you have. Just send me a Personal Message or an e-mail.

Traded a running but tore up 1996 Olds Bravada SUV for this, straight up.
I had about $300 bucks into the Bravada, and drive up and back was about
$120 for gas and $30 for snacks and lunch. Thanks to my friends Jeremy and
Nick for going on the 200 mile ride... Now I have $450 in it.
Its not custom but the price was good.
Its all stock, only change made is a 12-volt conversion, last tabbed in 91...
I have my 34 5 window Chev going and I am making some changed to that once I am done this will get some attention. Until then it sits in the garage.
