    Carpet?!

No sir - it's a pickup. It will have a rubber mat.

Eventually the insides of the cab will be white. The only original paint in there is the black on top of the dash, that will stay. The door centers will be the same red as the seat.

I traced the wires for the heater motor... it was wired to the fuse box, but no workee.

I ran a temp wire to the battery and the motor works. So I wired it to the ignition. I'll pickup an in-line fuse this week.

Next - Tear the heater box apart and get the core out so I can send it to the radiator shop.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing. 333HalfEvil is sending me the heater, should be here this week. Do you know how the heater was wired up by the factory? I don't see it in my factory wiring harness.

1 wire from the blower to the switch then over to the fuses.
I have a couple of pix of the fuse block if it helps.

Yes, it's that truck. I dig your truck... No flames for this one. Maybe a big block Cadillac way down the road.

They are pretty cheap at Truck and Car Shop... I got the visors, just plain wood for $12 each.

Joe, I'm loving what you're doing with the truck! We all dug it when Gooz had it. We miss it, but its really nice to see it in good hands.

The seat is installed. This afternoon I'll get the visors and armrests bolted in (and take some good pix).

I sit pretty high now. The S10 seat was pretty damn comfortable.. but it was too narrow.

I need to get used to this one, but yeah, way better than the way it was all worn out.

Come by man... I'm curious how the vroom vroom noises sound with an Aussie accent.

Or better yet - be at Foster's this week!

No slam - I'll probably just pull 3 leafs from each corner. I drive it every day, and I use it like a pickup.

I was finally able to quite down the doors today. It was chattering.

I pushed the passenger side latch clasp all the way to the inside... drove it... no chatter, but now I had a squeek. I adjusted the window trim... drove it... squeek.

Greased the crap out of the door latches and the squeek is gone!

    No chatter, no squeek.

Next I think I'm gonna paint my wheels and either blast and paint my caps or pop on the '52 sedan caps I bought this weekend.
