They were first available in 59, the last full size wagons were produced in 96. What year is the wagon you are looking at?

My OT daily driver (88 Buick Estate Wagon) has a rear seat looking out the rear of the car, so I know it's at least 88...joe

Wow, what an obscure question.... but I'm sure someone will have the definitive answer.

those were commonly refered to as "9 p***enger" wagons. 59'-60' buick would be cool.

  10. The full-size GM wagons through '89 or '90 (last year differs from make to make, last Pontiac was 1989) had them. Don't know about the jellybeans that came after, been too long since I messed with one, but was I to guess I'd say they did too, because they were more or less a new outer shell on the same frame/floorpan as the older cars.

When I see an ad like that I sometimes ask the seller how they expect to sell the car if they can't even tell me what year it is in the ad.

Well LeSabre really doesn´t tell You anything. A friend of mine years ago had a Buick STW where the badge on the fr fender said Electra and the one on the dash said LeSabre. This one was a 1988 model. I suggest You CALL the seller of this wagon...

1996 Buick Roadmaster wagons and Caprices of the same year were the last 9 p***engers made.

The last one I owned was an '88 Olds. It was fun making my 6 foot 4 inch brother-in-law sit in the back of it. I sure liked that car better than the minivan that replaced it as the family car.

1996 was the last year for a full-sized wagon by Chevy (Caprice) and Buick (Roadmaster). BOTH had the rear-facing third seat.

I always had a thing for the Olds Vista Cruiser.. That one was a cool wagon. Looked even better with the chrome Magnum 500 rims on it. :D
