  1. I think she should help with the builds or pack her bags. Tell her to leave her purse behind though, your balls may be in there!!

How many Model As do you see versus '35 Fords. I would keep the '35!

A guy that rode to work with me years ago did something like that, when we pulled up in front of his house after work the next day ALL his stuff was out on the curb........ in the rain. He said, "Don't bother to stop, just drop me off at the nearest bar." I did.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't vote in this poll. I've always pointed to the garage when dating (still single) and said my mistresses live there. I never had an arguement about them.

Just remember, If Mamma aint happy, aint no body happy. You could build both trucks cheaper than a divorce. I've been married for 34 years to this one. She's a keeper. GOOD LUCK!!

    Im down with this.

any one who really loves you, and really knows you, would never force you make a choice like that. <---here is your line , weather you choose to use it..is your call.

I had an X GF that thought the same way your wife does...guess thats why shes not here anymore, and got replaced with a younger model, that is my wife.

sounds to me you didnt have her understand what she was getting into..its now or never.

if you cant do this , turn your man card in..and stay on the couch with her needle point, and her selfish issues..than one day you might wake up..but you will have wasted soooo much of your life wondering...What IF

Oh and hiding the car is not manning up...its being a lier and a wuss

  13. Okay you didn't ask her about buying the truck before you did, strike #1. Did you ask her if you could post a picture of her on the internet? Guessing probably not and strike #2. This could get ugly and interesting all at the same time.Good luck to you in the next couple days.:D:eek:

Well I'm 63 years old and have been married for 40 years and before we got married I told my wife never say me or the car unless she had her bags packed.
That out of the way. I'd have to go back to the regular questions.

Do you have room to stash the A away out of the way until the 35 is completely done?
How much of the stuff you have for the A can you readily use on the 35 if you did stash the A away?

But I can sure and well see her point. you may only have the room, time and finances to deal with one project at the time. I've got way too many unfinished or half finished projects that lack either time to work on them or lack the funds to buy important pieces for them. From the looks of things the 35 can be built into a running driving rig a lot quicker than the A and if you did sell the A you would have those funds to use on the 35.

I'd probably stick the frame for the A in the rafters and the cab in or behind the shed and figure out what pieces I had collected that I could use on the 35 and get it squared away and up and running.

Or you can stick the A on Ebay at a dreamers price that no one in their right mind would pay and tell her you do have it up for sale an aren't getting any bids or offers.

you have never addressed the issue of why she's putting her foot down. you said you didn't tell her before you did this. it seems there would be more to it than not asking permission. i think it's relevant as to why she is forcing you to get rid of a project.

why do you have to ask her? are you taking money the family needs? if the only reason is, in fact, that you only failed to ask permission on a smoking deal, then she's being irrational and you keep both rides.

Since there are still a ton of pieces, would she kno w the differance between one or two cars? Could you say that one body is just a "DONOR"? I would deffinatly try that. Wives never what parts are what or where they go. Just sayin.....

sorry 'bout your luck. If were me, I would be finding out what the reason is for the need to have one removed and work on that issue. Find out whats on your wifes mind and do some custom fab work there and keep them both. If she wants to not have to walk in from the rain, see if you can do something about that. It might just be your not giving her enough of your time....

wouldn't bash the wife, without knowing about their financial situation and her faith and love in/ for him. There's always a risk of doing someone terribly wrong (and we're not talking death penalties; those are always justified, period!)

Maybe one car needs to go, maybe not. I'd try to keep both, or sell the '35 if money was really THAT tight. Remember, we're stuck in a world-wide financial crisis atm.

Deal with the wife thing before you lose a hell of a lot of stuff you care about. Because if she’s like that it will end badly anyways, you may as well have you stuff.

I sold a ton of cool stuff to try and make them happy and it never worked.
