headlight ring help???????????

OK guys, I have one headlight ring that works with a set of headlights that I am building. However I dont know what its from, Im hoping someone will recognize it and tell me what its from.

It is approx 8 1/2 at the rear and 7 1/4 at the lense. It has one tab at the top and one screw at the bottom. The back edge is not rolled.

Sure looks like a 51-52 Ford P/U ring to me.

 

The Vintage Ford shop here in town says its not Ford, They could be wrong, but they tried to match it up with everything they had. Any other ideas?

 

The description almost sounds like early 40's vintage I.H. truck stuff. By chance, do your headlights (***embled) look rather m***ive as compared to others from that era?

I dont have any idea what the buckets or the rings are from, they do not go together. However they will work together with some slight modification. The biggest factor is that the rear of the ring is not rolled. I have both buckets and just need one matching ring to the one pictured.

 

I plan on using some old Harley Davidson FLH rings if I ever get to that point.

Whoops! Missed that little fact. The I.H. headlights I have do have rings that are rolled on the back edge.
