a little help

    i got a 63 1/2 galaxie 500 and i am trying to put a 302 in it but i need to find a way to mount the motor... any help???

    Need a little more info was it a v8 car originally?

    Buy the motor mounts for a 63 ford galaxie with a 289.

    What he said............should be doable with all stock parts unless you are doing an upgrade to AOD ******, then maybe a modified crossmember/rear mount.

    the car was v8 originally but it had a 352 and i dont have the original mounts but if they will work i will buy them. i am planning on using the AOD ****** cuz the motor/ ****** came from an 87 lincoln so it is not electric yet im told...

    You may be asking for trouble with the AOD. Due to the size, depending on what the car came with originally. The AOD may be too long for the stock ****** cross-member. then you will also have to come up with a different shifter to hook up to the AOD 4spd.

    you will need the steel mounts that mount to the frame, the 352 metal mounts in the frame are spaced to far apart, i don't see any problem making new trans mount, good luck

    the ****** crossmember wont be a problem, and i plan to use the aod because i cant find a bell housing or adapter plate for the original ****** to fit the 302 ... how can i get in touch with crashburns about those mounts???
