What is this... this gorgeous piece of art on wheels? I want one. P.S. if you have any facts on it, please pm me, I will build one of these from scratch if that is what it takes.
'49 or '50 Ford club coop...sectioned, molded, radiused wheel wells and lowered...plus a lot more changes... Good luck on the building from scratch part..have you ever "built" a car...sectioning is a lot of work... R-
that I already knew, i was wondering if anyone had any possible build pics or facts on the owner? I know I am asking alot but it is only if you have the time and or abillity. I don't want to be a complete bother, just a little one.
I'm having a brain fart, and can't remember the guys name. But I'm pretty sure that guy in the picture is a movie star. I know I read it on the hamb somewhere.
What he said, grille looks like it was handformed from tubing, windshield laid back, front roll pan, bumper guards molded in, pancaked hood, etc etc etc
Nice car, hopefully someone on the HAMB has some info on it. Whoever built it studied Italian sports car designs or the era.
I hope rikster doesn't mind i'm linking this http://public.fotki.com/Rikster/11_..._custom_cars/50s_built_49-51/merton_peterson/
This picture is a permanent fixture on the first floor wall of the Petersen Automotive Museum. The curator, Leslie Kendall could tell you what car this is. He will know. His email address is - lkendall@petersen.org
