Go back and look at that report again, it's dated 2004! The changes they are talking about are already in effect for 3 years! That's exactly what I was tyalking about in earlier post!
Amsoil is just about the only one I am aware of that has kept the high additive oil on the market and added a new oil for the 2007 and up diesels. The rest seem to have downgraded the oil to a "one size fits all" grade.
But why use an oil designed for engines that turn less than half what a well built hot rod engine turns when there are oils out there on the market with the additive package you need for a flat tappet hipo engine? JEEEEZ!!!!!!!
