Hello ,I"ve been on the Hamb for a couple of months now.Im building a 53 Chevy 210.This site is amazing any question I have or can even think of I can find an answer to.This place is like the Library of Congress for Hot Rods!!Im just getting started on my 53.Planning V8 swap with a 5 speed or maybe a 4 speed.I have the motor a 327 and a 55 chevy rear.still working on the trany. Car is real solid so im just planning on making a mild custom.Ill start posting pics of my progress.Thanks, John

Welcome from Central Florida. Use to live in Browns Mills and Toms River. Have a 5spd in my 50 Chevy with a 56 Chevy rear, it really likes the 3:36 gears. Still have the 216 c.i. soon to be replaced with a 54 235.
Well things have changed!I discoverd how cool Six bangers can be.So I sold the 327 I found to my Uncle for his 67 Camaro ( thats were it belongs)and I found a later model 235. 55-62 Im thinking dual carbs ,headers, Nasty little cam.I have the stock motor running great so im going to take my time with this motor!Should be fun! n
