man, I thought you were looking for this "East" car, the former Bill Woodward Roadster. Anyway, here it is at the '61 Winternationals car show
NO, not totally destroyed...but bad enuff to warrant a rebuild...which is what's happening to it now. Don't have an ETA... R-
THE 1932 BRONZE COLORED FULL FENDERED NEAL EAST ROADSTER WAS JUST RECENTLY RESTORED THE WAY IT WAS IN 62 BY MY STEP DAD.
Hey VT, check with KIRK!, he may have one in his stash he's giving away. In the mean time, PM me your addy and I'll send you mine, you can send it back when you're done or drop it off next time by.
VT, I wish you had said something about it when you were here the other night. I have that copy. Next time you're around swing by and you can borrow it. I love the front end of that car. I may even have some springs that would work for ya.
Neal East is a friend of mine and my dad's. If you want, I could probably talk to him about getting more pics of the roadster for you.
I doubt hes on here, and I seriously doubt that hes terribly computer literate, but Im not sure. Ill ask though. Im gonna go talk to him probably tommorrow and see if he would sell some of my light switch covers and other striped stuff in his store for me.
Ever since I moved from Denver I've wished that he had a website for his book store. I use to go in there and look and drool for hours...... Does he still have that beutiful flathead sitting upfront near the windows?
