Can't say. I am really opposed to having Windows (XP) and also having to use their "house" browser-so I only use Firefox. But there are some websites where only Explorer will work. FF is fine for me.
Why is there a difference? Because even though HTML is "standardized", FireFox and IE interpret it differently. I also find that IE runs a lot faster than FireFox. I miss plain old Mozilla myself. FF just ain't the same. Tim D.
A lot of spam is driven off of cookie exchange in IE, uses the new window opening to facilitate a pop-up when otherwise blocked, etc. Firefox is used by far fewer people, so the s*** bags don't bother writing code that will work there.
Mozilla Firefox seems to work better for me, but I had the old internet explorer and now have the newest Firefox. Its an old computer but still faster than my wife's new laptop with IE. So, IDK, depends on the comp I guess.
