Not another Aussie!

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by Huffy, Feb 3, 2010.

  1. Hi, I've been viewing the H.A.M.B. for a little while, have a few friends on here, so I thought the next step is to join.

Have always been around hot rodding, coming from a family that has always had a unique/unusual cars in the garage.

Current project is a 49 Ford tudor, which I'm planning on keeping a 6 in it,
but go all out with some traditional Vintage Speed Equipment.
I know I'm crazy, just want to be a little different.
If that fails I will have to put in a Y block simular to Clint Ring's awsome shoebox (Hop-up special#1)

So that's my aim. This could be the place to find vintage speed equipment for a 6cyl flathead 226.

Look forward to your input and help.

I used to bounce at the Nu Hotel, Dandenong in the early 90's. Seems like a long time ago!

  16. Not the Nu!!!! hahahahahahaa what a dive! Small world. Our office used to be across the road (last 4 years anyway, we have since moved next door to the tax office).

Actually went there once or twice in the mid 90's. Gotta love a night club with permanent metal detectors setup...
