Customs laying a 41 chevy convertible on its rockers....

it does not raise the motor the center top stays in the same place the sides and the bottom move up i put gussets at the corners at the towers on the inside (i remove the the bottom cover and weld the gussets in the inside) and i gusset the outside at the corners towers. no gussets to the frame rails

That is true and I can vouch for that since my background is in Materials Engineering.
