    Hey guys great work!

    Nice to be back posting.
Havn't posted in a while because of a show at Gasoline I have been getting ready for. Lot's of new stuff but cant show it until my show opens.

But here are a couple more small ones I did for the Grand Nationals show.
Oil on vintage newspaper and small format custom car mags from the 50s.

Now this one is a bit out of season.
It was my preliminary drawing for my Christmas card. But I think "Santa's Little Helper" is pretty nice to look at any time of the year.

    Hidden,

Curious, do you start off with a proportional drawing or sketch or can you literally pick this outta your brain and onto the screen? Had a guy that worked for me that could make these vector-based programs sing like you can. Not only was the end product unbelievable but to watch the process is something to see. I love the wire frame shot. All B-E-A utiful!!!!

    Hope to see more.

Jim, I really like this stuff you're doing. Any chance of taking it to a larger scale?

  20. Last weekend, I was diggin' Bugfink's Buickfied 50's Chevy pickup painting. I mentioned that I did something similar of a sketch of a Caddy-styled Chevy pickup. This morning, I got the pencil out and redrawed from a quick sketch. This drawing has elements from different 50's era Caddys. The grill is a stock '54 Chevy pickup with vertical bars(?) added to mimic a '50 Caddy's grill. This would be a cool build!
I look up to all of those who do concept drawings, not a easy thing to do. Especially when you're limited to a few reference pictures, and the rest is imagination. Then making it look right, man.
I got to get and learn photoshop, you guys blow me away.

Here's one for the F.A.S.! This is the highlight of my week, and I think for many others who have it in their brains all week! The collection of talent is amazing. Also, thanks for the P.M.'s from the greats of the art show.I'm a huge fan of all of you.I wish I could pull off the art you guys do! Bomonster- does your wife really clean the undercarriage of whatever that is? By the way- what is that car?I'm import challenged! Looks speedy whatever it is! My wife just enjoys it because I do, but she'll only come out to the shop when she has to.Now I'm rambling again. Great job EVERYBODY!

  26. Those are rad business cards! I'd rate those right up there with Zach Suhr's cards, for the cool factor. Has anyone ever shown Zach's timing tag business cards on here?
