Just added a furnace to my garage, so I do hang out there(haven't dared add a fridge and a TV yet.. I'll never come in!) a old propane trailer furnace . Play basketball. Snowmobile. The couch. But it's like us Mainiacs to switch gears with the seasons.. but regardless we will be in t shirts and shorts when it gets warm again... about 40 degrees or so!

Anywhere that there's heat! Not in my garage! An old greenhouse with a blue plastic tarp on it. And it's 10 degrees colder than outdoors-----------UGH.
But come warmer weather, 30 or so, I'll be out there again! chuckle chuckle.
Don't know many other rodders around so don't know where others hang out. Perley

I am sooooooo ready for a trip to Bonneville.

I'm taking the tree down now. Tomorrow it's back to hanging out in the garage.

most of the club members have a car and a place to keep it.some evan have a heated place.if there is no heat dress like you are ice fishing and get working to keep warm.
it is also a good time so scout for vintage tin, rust shows up quite nicely against the snow plus there isn't a lot of foliage to hide those diamonds in the rough.
we have houses and workshops up here in ''the sticks'',they might not be up to gold chainers status but we get by just fine!
Sam,are you out there? you've got lights, what about heat in the shop? you could send out an invite, the rose and i are always looking for a reason to road trip.
John and Loraine, thanks for the speedway subscription, that was very thoughtful.rosie and i will deliver the 327 sunday weather permiting.
ol bone, you're the smart one, work in the south for the winter, what a concept!!
smalley has the warmest and coolist hangout, hands down

Down East Street Rods is a pretty good sized club in the southern coastal area with a very long history. Certainly they've got winter meetings going...certainly used to!

Well when there is a warm spell, 30 or so I work outside on one of the projects and do alittle ice fishing and when it gets cold I head for the garage and work on one of the other projects. I also cruise the local junkyard about twice a week. This week alone I picked up an I-beam for $30 and a Ford 9" for $40 and its only Wed.

The junkyard is in Cherryfield. They don't end up with alot of vintage parts, but when they do they call me.
