Can you guys and girls post me some of your favorite pics, maybe some YouTube links? Somethings to get my inspiration up so that when Im healed up I can hit the ground running and get back to work on my projects? Xoxo...
Get out a stack of magazines and start reading. I had orthoscopiic surgery on my left knee last summer. I was up and around in a few days. What did you do to your knee?
That ****s man I feel for ya I had shoulder surgery in September. The whole time I was pacing in and out of my garage. I just barely got back to where I can work on my car and now I have to go back in to do it all again in March to fix some complications.
Get well soon.....no, get well now!! Yup, recovering after surgery is boring as hell. As mentioned above, magazines. Internet helps....YouTube and so on. You do know that you are probably going to have more energy and desire to build, or whatever, when you are back on your feet. How about popping a bit of info about what you are building, modifying or whatever?
Been there, done that. Here have a laugh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-Lnfpulwjc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6P1kTwHUuU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_b2xIEfj2Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4D6cHLRLUk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgMheL7dGu0
Thanks boys. as I mentioned I staying at my folks house till I can get around well enough to take care of myself, get groceries, stuff like that.. I dont have any of my stuff here, so I gotta stick to tv and the internet.. Dad has a whole bunch of Harley stuff dowstairs in his shop, but stairs are not my friends right now! Brett, sorry I didnt mention it the other night.. Youre coming out to the Los Gatos Locos show next month right?? Hopefully I can practice again in time!!
Look after that knee man, you don't want to end up like me with 8 separate operations on the one knee. I kept parachuting after my first few operations and managed to screw my knee up bad. Also had back surgery and am going for a shoulder op soon. So yeah I feel your pain man. Keep your head up and work hard at the rehab Doc.
Thanks for the advice doc.. I intend to get as better as I can.. This is actually an on going injury since the beginning of 2006.. Years of physical therapy and 3 MRI's to get here, my first, and hopefuuly last knee op.. I have cars to get back to work on, Im excited to be able to be on my feet for more than a half hour at a time.
Sounds like a good reason not to jump out of a perfectly good airplane that's not on fire and about to crash.
Ahh memories, soap operas that the wife wont miss watching, stuck on couch with leg up, dog waits till you finally fall to sleep and jumps on leg. The above was probably the worse during recovery. Had 3 on right knee and 1 on left. Mr. Aurthur Itis has visited them now. Hope you're back up in no time! Sitting Idle ****s!
I had mine done 2 times. Take care and I hope you heal fast. Do what your doc tells ya. If you don't you'll be goi ng threw it again. Thats why I went threw it 2 times.......
Time to start building models and posting them for sundays .I would go crazy ,That's just what I would do,Good luck to you ,And I wish you a speedy recovery ,John
